Children act like sponges to our emotions, thoughts, and the world around them. They pick up on stress, or they experience it themselves because of changes in their routines or other forces outside of their control. Even adults have trouble these days! It's a stressful time for everyone.
We may hold onto those emotions even after the problem has been solved. Feelings can be tricky and when we hold onto our anger we can’t move on. The best thing to do when this happens is to just let it go so that we can move on from the situation. This is easier said than done.
To help with this, we've created a free printable that can be used to practice "letting it go."
In each balloon, write about something that you are having a hard time moving on from. After, take a deep breath, crumple up the paper and let it go!
